Keeping the Ice Smooth & the Community Strong – Thank You!

Each winter, Centrepointe comes together to enjoy a true Canadian tradition: our community rink at the west end of Centrepointe Park. Unlike refrigerated rinks that are maintained by the city (like the one in front of Ben Franklin Place), this rink exists thanks to our incredible volunteers.

A huge thank you to Kevin O’Shea and Jamie Small for their tireless efforts in clearing snow, maintaining the ice, and ensuring that families, friends, and shinny players had a place to skate all season long. Your hard work keeps the rink—and our community spirit—alive!
